HOPPP Meeting

Please join us for our monthly HOPPP meeting! This is our parent organization at PPPCS Meetings occur in the cafeteria every 2nd Saturday of the month at 10am. HOPPP fosters fellowship among parents and facilitates communication between members of the school community. Interpretation and childcare provided. We will be discussing how to interpret your child’s assessment reports/data. Come to the HOPPP Coffee Hour 10/16 if you miss the Saturday meeting!

Picture Re-take Day


If you were not happy with the pictures you ordered, or , if you did not have a chance to order pictures last time, you can have your students’ pictures taken on this day.  If you are returning a picture package, please make sure send in the original package.  If you are ordering new pictures, please get an order form from the main office and send in the form and money before the 11th. Only students ordering pictures that day may be out of uniform.  If any student was absent the first picture day, we will take their pictures for the yearbook.

Mobile Dentists


The Mobile Dentists will be here Nov 13-15 to provide preventative and restorative dental care for students.  Insurance and Medical Assistance are accepted, and grants are available if your child does not have dental insurance. If you need a new form, they are in the main office. If your child was seen last year, and this would be their 6 month follow up, you will receive a phone call from Mobile Dentists. 

BINGO! - Adults Only

11/15/19 6:30pm

Doors open at 6:30pm and games start at 7pm. $10 to play. Food, alcohol, and extra games available for purchase. Bingo is for adults only!  Support our school and have lots of fun!



Students who were never late or absent during the month of October will be able to come to school out of uniform.  Students will receive their “basketball” prior to the NBA day. If you have any confusion about your student ’s qualifying, please contact the Front Office.

Family Math Night

11/19/19 6:00pm

Join us on Tuesday, November 19 at 6pm for a football-themed Family Math Night! Your family will get to play math games, practice math skills, and  parents will have a change to learn about how we are teaching math at PPPCS. Please bring your favorite kid-friendly football food with you to share in our potluck! Free raffles, volunteer hours and homework passes will be provided.

The meetings are open to the general public and we encourage parents, students, and community members to attend and let your voices be heard.  

K Visiting Day

11/21/2019 9:30am

Let your friends and family know! Join us on Thursday November 21 at 9 AM.  Come  visit  the classrooms, meet with teachers, learn more out our programs, and fill out an enrollment application for the 2020 –2021 school year for PPPCS and for Clay Hill Public Charter School. Patterson Park 5K and Fun Run

The Patterson Park 5K, Fun Run, and Homebrew Contest is Saturday, Dec 7th starting at 11am! Proceeds from the event benefit BMore Global, who will be taking students abroad next year!!

Next 10 Committee Recommendations 

The board charged the Next 10 Committee with bringing a recommendation to the board regarding a growth pathway. The committee members include teachers, staff, parents, and board members. As part of researching pathways and moving the process forward, the board engaged Mark Cannon/Greater Capacity Consortium, a charter-focused consulting company. At this time, the board is asked to vote on a pathway.  This document summarizes recent full board discussions that inform this decision.
