Join the newly formed parent group for the Pan-African families of PPPCS. The group meets the first Thursday of the month. The next meeting will take place Thursday, January 9th at 6pm. This meeting will outline the purpose of the group as well as serve as a planning meeting for the annual African-American Heritage dinner scheduled for February 21st. Dinner and Childcare will be provided.

Dr. King Birthday Celebration


On Friday, January 17th, we are inviting parents to come enjoy lunch with their student and school community as we celebrate Dr. King’s birthday and legacy.



Students who were never late or absent during the month of October will be able to come to school out of uniform.  Students will receive their “basketball” prior to the NBA day. If you have any confusion about your student ’s qualifying, please contact the Front Office.

OrchKids Pre K/K Winter Showcase

Parent Teacher Conferences


Families are requested to meet with teachers and discuss student success and progress. Please look out for communications from the teachers and reserve your conference via Parent-Square or with your teacher.  

Open House

1/25/2020 1pm

Families of prospective students will have the opportunity to tour PPPCS and get to know staff and students to help them make the most informed choice for their students’ 2019-20 school year. Please help us spread the word about this event to friends and families that are interested in or have applied for PPPCS’ lottery. We will also have information regarding all the updates of Clay Hill Public Charter School. Next 10 Committee Recommendations 

The board charged the Next 10 Committee with bringing a recommendation to the board regarding a growth pathway. The committee members include teachers, staff, parents, and board members. As part of researching pathways and moving the process forward, the board engaged Mark Cannon/Greater Capacity Consortium, a charter-focused consulting company. At this time, the board is asked to vote on a pathway.  This document summarizes recent full board discussions that inform this decision.
