HOPPP Fundraiser at Sticky Rice

Sticky Rice is the place to be on Wednesday, February 22 from 3 pm-close. Come join one of our PPPCS dads and local business owner, Ronnie Pasztor, for a fundraiser to benefit PPPCS. 15% of ALL drink and food sales on Wednesday, February 22 from 3 pm until close will be donated to PPPCS. Enjoy a drink and/or some great food - including sushi - and support our school. The back room will be reserved for families with kids to enjoy dinner or a snack in a family friendly atmosphere. Have friends or colleagues that don't have kids?!  Send them to Sticky Rice for a happy hour drink and bite and encourage them to support our school! There will be drink specials available that day. You do not have to be a PPPCS parent or affiliate to contribute to the fundraiser - 15% of all drink and food sales will benefit our neighborhood school. Thanks for your participation and thanks in advance for sharing with family and friends.  Can't wait to see you all there!!!! http://www.bmoresticky.com/

PPPCS has also been named our Community’s ENERGY HUB

The Green team is proud to announce that Patterson Park Public Charter School has been awarded a $1000 Baltimore Energy Challenge Grant. The GREEN TEAM students and GREEN TEAM teachers will be leading the school in Energy Conservation Efforts. Look for the GREEN TEAM Project updates on the GREEN TEAM bright Green Bulletin board.

Did you know? If 10,000 schools turned off their lights for one minute it could save $81,885!

PPPCS has also been named our Community’s ENERGY HUB. What is an Energy Hub? It’s a place dedicated to raising awareness about energy conservation! It’s also a place where PPPCS parents and families can sign the Baltimore Energy Challenge Pledge and pick up a free energy saving kit. The kit will help them save energy and save money on their energy bills.

You can take the pledge to reduce your energy use too! Become an Energy Super Hero; ask a Green Team member how to do it. Help us make Baltimore a Cleaner, Greener, Super Energy saving place to live! Keep an eye out for all the Energy Saving projects the GREEN TEAM will be leading at PPPCS.
