PPPCS Makes AYP in All Subgroups!!!

PPPCS is pleased to report that its students have demonstrated Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) by meeting or exceeding the standards of the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) for all subgroups on the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) for grades 3 - 8.   

This is a great accomplishment, reflecting five years of vision and persistence on the parts of the students, parents, and staff.


Strong and Significant Gains on the Maryland State Assessment for Patterson Park Public Charter School

Patterson Park Public Charter School (PPPCS) is pleased to report that its students have demonstrated Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) by meeting or exceeding the standards of the federal No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) for all subgroups on the Maryland School Assessment (MSA) for grades 3 - 8.   

“We are continuing year-to-year gains and the PPPCS family is dedicated to continued, dramatic improvement in all aspects of student and family life,” said Dr. Charles W. PPPCS Job Announcement!!

 

The Violence Prevention Program Coordinator (VPPC) will serve at the Patterson Park Public Charter School (PPPCS).  The VPPC will implement, coordinate and oversee a federal grant that includes violence prevention strategies with students, families and staff members.


In addition, the VPPC will conduct data management and reporting in accordance with the grant requirements.  The position also entails coordination of various partners and agencies, as well as the management of personnel.

PPPCS ATTRACTS $13,665,000 BOND FINANCING AND WILL CONSTRUCT NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL BUILDING!!

Patterson Park Public Charter School announced that it had secured $13,665,000 in bond financing for its final stage of campus development.  The financing will allow the school to refinance its current facility loan, complete renovations of its two existing buildings, and construct a new building for its middle school.
