Family Involvement
At the core of PPPCS's educational philosophy, we believe students with involved families will succeed in school, college, careers, and life overall. An involved family builds an irreplacable support system, that all children need throughout their development. From the start of their journey at PPPCS, families are involved. Families make a conscious choice to send their child to PPPCS, and families commit to remaining involved in their student's education through our Parent Volunteer Program.
HOPPP
Hands On Patterson Park Public (HOPPP) is PPPCS's organized parent organization. HOPPP connects family members with each other through initiating social and fundraising opportunities, and it connects families with the school through volunteer opportunities and information sharing.
Resources
PPPCS knows that our students' and families' needs sometimes go beyond what schools offer in the 7:50-2:40 school day. To fulfill more of the needs of our students, PPPCS connects families with community resources. As a Community School, we build formal relationships with local organizations to enhance the educational experience here, but we also help families in crisis and hardship find help they need.

PPPCS hopes these For Families pages lead parents to deeper involvement in the school community and the resources they need beyond the school day. If there is something that you would like to see on these pages, please contact Debbie Mattera at DMattera@pppcs.org.
