Southern Façade

PPPCS plans to restore the façade that faces Patterson Park to its original exterior with red brick and neoclassical windows and to add a new entrance. The restored façade will symbolize the long history and bright future of the neighborhood.

The building was the original St. Elizabeth Church and was built in 1895. In the middle of the twentieth century, the original windows were removed and the façade covered with formstone. As part of its ongoing renovations, we removed the formstone, but the cost of lead abatement prevented us from completing the restoration.
