at the Murphy Fine Arts Center at Morgan State University. Baltimore City Schools hosted the first annual Theater Festival, a showcase of the achievements of city school students in theater. Some of the students take theater classes as part of the instructional part of their school day. However, most are engaged with theater in before- and after-school programs led by city school teachers or outside partners. The following eight schools participated: Baltimore School for the Arts, Calverton Elementary/Middle, Southside Academy, Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle, Baltimore City College, William C. March Middle, Patterson Park Public Charter, and Roland Park Elementary/Middle.
